CM calls for crucial TDP MPs meet on Sunday

In the context of the Central government unabashedly denying Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh, which is a constitutional provision, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu called for a meeting of all party MPs at his Vijayawada camp office on Sunday morning to discuss the situation. He called upon all party MPs for a review of the situation arising from the Central decision. The meeting is expected to discuss the State's interests, Central funds and other matters. It would deliberate on whether to continue with the BJP or break the alliance. Also, whether it would be prudent to continue with the BJP when it had decided not to implement a constitutional provision. The Chief Minister will elicit opinion on all these aspects from the MPs.
