TS Christian Council demands free study from KG to PG

Telangana Christian Council (TCC) on Saturday demanded that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao implement “Bangaru Telangana Free Education policy from KG to PG" to the Christian students. Talking to mediapersons in Hyderabad, TCC leaders Mulkala Praveen, president, Lion C Francis, secretary-general, S. Sunny Edward, general secretary, and others demanded that the TRS government implement “Free Education Policy” for all Christian Minority students studying in “Christian Minority Institutions”. They also demanded that the Telangana government “Scrap Minority status” privileges to all Christian institutions. They warned the government that if free education was not implemented immediately, the TCC leaders would organize a dharna to close down all the Christian institutions. The TCC leaders also requested the Chief Minister to look into the problems of the poorest of poor Christians and, if necessary, to cancel the minority status of all Christian institutions, who are not willing to implement “Free Education Policy” for the benefit of the poor Christians. They demanded that the Chief Minister issue a “GO” to this effect, so that all poor Christians, minority students will get free education in all Christian Minority Institutions. The TCC further demanded that the Roman Catholic Church promote and practice a “Caste-free Church” without any discrimination, as more than 80% population of Catholics are Dalit Christians only. The TCC leaders Lion R Sheeba R Goneh, Glory Ananda, Anthony, Williams, Alfonsa, Selvaraj, Gali Anil Reddy and others were present.
