Pattiseema is life-fulfilling, says Babu

With the confluence of the Krishna and the Godavari rivers, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu says he finds fulfillment in life. Offering prayers at the confluence point at Ibrahimpatnam in Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu participated in an all-religious ritual at the point. He put turmeric and vermilion in the waters in a ritual and said he worked for the confluence with religious fervour. What was impossible, he demonstrated by delivering the Godavari waters to the Krishna delta. He hoped the people would utilise the waters to the maximum by raising crops like never before. For the present, he said only two of the 24 pipelines would be used. If the Srisailam dam was full, the water would be utilised for Rayalaseema, which would then turn a granary. Deputy Speaker Mandali Budha Prasad, Minister Devineni Umamaheshwar Rao and others participated in the ritual.
