Woman dentist ditches NSG commando family, joins ISIS

A Kerala girl studying to be a dentist and sister of an elite NSG commando has joined the ISIS terrorists in Syria, reports suggest. The mother of the girl, Bindu Kumar, who was one of the people who met with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan during the weekend, has said her 24-year-old daughter had last told her she was going to Sri Lanka on business. `My children are patriotic. My son wanted to be an Army officer and my daughter wanted to be a doctor,' the mother told the media. But she was surprised that her daughter chose to marry a Christian, and was further surprised when the young couple took to Islam. So she was shocked when she met her daughter in burqa. The daughter was missing for days and refused to take her calls before the mother could find about the wedding. She once sent her a message on WhatsApp. After June 5 all communication ended. Bindu Kumar and the family of the Christian her daughter had married had together appealed to the government for help in finding their children.
