Rambabu tells Babu foreign capital craze is waste

YCP leader Ambati Rambabu on Monday advised that begging for foreign investment would not bring in any capital. Referring to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu heading a 13-man delegation to Asian Tigers to bring in investment, Rambabu wondered what did all the investment campaign in the past 2 years had resulted in. He asked in the past 2 years of TDP rule, did we get even a single rupee of investment? On the contrary, he suggested the easier option of achieving the Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh which might at least get some investment from the country's industry. To take advantage of the rules under the SCS, at least the country's industrialists would come forward and invest in the State, he said. In the craze for foreign investment, the TDP is insulting the Indian industry, he added. As an aside, he wondered what was there in the suitcases that are being carried by the special plane taking the AP delegates abroad.
