KCR hails ISRO launch of 20 satellites
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday expressed happiness over the successful launch of navigation satellite PSLV C 34. In an official communiqué, the Chief Minister extended congratulations to the ISRO scientists for the feat of injecting 20 satellites, including 17 foreign satellites, into orbit. KCR described this achievement as a milestone in the history of satellite technology and exuded confidence that the ISRO would set more such records in the future. Shortly after 9 in the morning, India successfully launched a rocket which deposited a record 20 satellites in 26 minutes into space. This is proof that the country's famously frugal space agency, ISRO, is headed for a larger slice of the lucrative commercial space market.
