Two petitions filed in HC for fasting Mudragada

While Mudragada Padmanabham, Kapu supremo, is continuing his fast for a week now, two petitions have been filed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court on his behalf. One said in regard to the arrest, the AP government should follow the rules. The second plea sought special medical help for the fasting leader. The Akhil Bharat Kapu Jagruti chairman Chandu Janardana Chandrasekhar, appealing under Section 41 of the CrPC, said prior notice should be given to the fastiong leader before his arrest. Only then he should be arrested. The plea mentioned the AP Home Secretary, the State DGP and the Superintendents of Police of East and West Godavari as the opposite parties. The other petition sought better medical facilities for Mudragada and wanted him to be shifted from the Rajahmundry government Hospital to either Nizam's Institute of Medical sciences in Hyderabad or any other superspecialties hospital.
