Every rupee had to be begged for in AP, says KCR

Greeting the people of Telangana on the occasion of Second Formation Day, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said in the combined State every rupee release had to begged for. `Now we are in a position to spend our monies,' he added. He was speaking after hoisting the flag at Parade Ground in Secunderabad. He reminded the people that there was never any relief in the fight for waters, resources and official appointments for Telangana in the combined State. But now the State was marching towards Golden Telangana. KCR further reminded the people that there had been starvartion deaths during the combined State rule. The TRS government was working for mitigating the sufferings of the people. He said another Journalists colony would be built in Hyderabad. The government would fulifil all its promises. Shortly the State would be achieving total literacy. The TRS government was introducing many welfare schemes for the poor, he added.
