Nigerians are a nuisance to locals, says Goa CM

The Nigerians living in Goa are creating nuisance to the local poeple, Chief Minister Lasmikant Prsekar says. Talking to the media in Panaji, Parsekar said on Wednesday that th Nigerians were overstaying, and to continue to live here they were committing crimes and were getting extensions of stay on the pretext of the trial. The people, on the other hand, were only complaining against the Nigerians. They were doing such things by their behaviour and lifestyle as would affect the local people. Parsekar, who also holds the tourism portfolio, stressed the need for a law to put curbs on the lifestyle of the Nigerians, which was at variance with that of the local people. They were committing crimes only in order to continue to live in Goa. Therefore there was a need to put curbs on the Nigerians by law.
