YCP ready to agitate at KCR residence: Bhushanam

YCP general secretary Bhushanam on Tuesday said if necessary his party would agitate before Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao's residence in Hyderabad, should it benefit the people of Andhra Pradesh. The YCP leader was reacting to the challenge posed by AP Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy. The Dy CM said that if the YCP leader, Jaganmohan Reddy, wanted to protest against the Telangana irrigation projects that were impacting AP, a dharna should be staged at KCR's house and not in Kurnool. Alternatively, the agitation could be taken up in Delhi before the Central Water Commission or Union Irrigation Minister Uma Bharati, but not in Kurnool. Only then would the Jagan agitation yield results. The Deputy Chief Minister was reacting to Jagan's oft-repeated remarks that the ruling TDP leaders were sitting quiet while Telangana was taking the waters away, turning AP into a desert. Bhushanam said if the Andhras had to be benefited, YCP leader Jaganmohan Reddy should come to power.
