Don't see tamasha over river projects, CPI tells Governor

What is the common Governor for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, ESL Narasimhan, doing when the two States are virtually fighting over the many projects the upstream TS is taking up on the Krishna and Godavari rivers, questioned CPI leader Narayana. The CPI leader said instead of inviting the two Chief Ministers and thrashing out the river projects issues, the Governor was seeing tamasha (enjoying street play). He appealed to the Governor not to waste time and solve the river projects issue. He urged Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to take up the Special Category Status with Prime Minister Narendra Modi when the two leaders meet in Delhi on May 17. Chandrababu should return to the State with the Special Status. Otherwise, he had better resign, Narayana said reiterating his demand over the Chief Minister's resignation.
