Jana Sena stages novel protest demanding special status
Activists of Actor Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena staged a novel protest in Kakinada on Sunday demanding special status to Andhra Pradesh. They entered into the sea with placards and raised slogans against the central government. They warned the BJP that the party would be given the same treatment as that of Congress in the state if the special status is not given to the state. About 450 youth staged the protest from 9 am to 11 am this morning. Speaking on the occasion, they said that special status is only the proper help to the state, but not special packages or special funds. "Pawan Kalyan supported TDP and BJP in the last elections only when BJP promised complete help to the state," clarified the activists.
