Security agencies gearing up for imminent strike by Pak-based terrorists

A major strike by terrorists from across the border is imminent, security agencies have warned the government. These terrorists are prearing for a major strike and to create large-scale disruption in public life, the agencies have warned. Under a well-thought-out conspiracy, the terrorists are stated to be moving in Jammu and Kashmir only during the nights carrying a large cache of arms. The Director-General of Police (law and order) in Punjab has corroborated the security agencies warning by saying the threat from Pakistan-based terrorists was very high. He received a message to this effect from the Delhi police. The Delhi police also said that three terrorists were moving about in an ash-coloured Swift Desire car along with a resident of Jammu and Kashmir. The car was hauling the firearms and ammunition also. They are suspected to be carrying a suicide belt, too. Hauling a large cacahe of ammunition, the terrorists were set to target New Delhi, Mumbai and Goa, say officials quoting security agencies. The terrorists were expected to cross the Banihal tunnel around Wednesday night, and the police are waiting for any situation.
