Recording dance sleaze held at Satyadeva temple in Annavaram
Recording dance, famous in Coastal Andhra, was recorded at Annavaram Satyanarayanaswamy temple in East Godavari district on Friday. The occasion was a marriage that was performed in the temple premises, where the marraige party arranged for the recording dance for the entertainment of their guests. The temple committee, which is normally active had, for some strange reason, failed to prevent the blasphemous act of skimpy robed women dancers joined by males in the marriage party and dancing away to film tunes. The devotees raised a hue and cry, but the temple authorities did not intervene. They reported the matter to the local TV channels, which came and recorded the entire sleazy dance and have started telecasting the dance for the viewers since Saturday morning. There is also a police post on the Annavaram hill, but it is a mystery why the police did not act. Or, were they enjoying the sleazy dance, too?
