TSRTC extends bus bonhomie between Telugu States

Come festival season of Sankranti, when the people working and living in Hyderabad would love to go to their native places, and there is no go either by buses or trains! To ease the situation to a large extent, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation has come out with a plan to loan as any as 500 buses to its AP counterpart, the APSRTC. The TSRTC has announced that it would be running 2,715 holiday special buses to all Telangana and AP dsitricts from Mahatma Gandhi Bus-stand starting January 1 to 20. Depending on the rush for buses, it would increase the services further. The reservation facility will be extended to these special services. The TSRTC says additional charges will be levied only on holiday specials. The TSRTC will also loan more buses to the APSRTC in case it wants to ensure the return of the passengers from the various AP districts. The bus bonhomie is much called for because Sankranti has been a trying time for bus passengers to both Telangana and particularly AP districts.
