Ramkumar appointed Mylan's CIO
After Microsoft's Satya Nadella, another Telugu man, Rayapureddy Ramkumar, has achieved the distinction of heading a company's operations. Ramkumar was appointed pharma multinational Mylan's CIO (Chief Information Officer), a company press release announced. Ramkumar was born at Banapuram in East Godavari district. After engineering education in Kakinada, he did MS from North Carolina University. He was CIO in the Indian pharma company, Ranbaxy. Ramkumar worked in the pharma sector for 22 years, and joined Mylan last year. He would now oversee IT operations of Mylan.
