Ambati Rambabu slams Chandrababu for delay in according BC status to Kapus

Hyderabad, Nov 10: YSRCP leader Amabati Rambabu and Kapu Association in Rajahmundry demanded that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu should immediately accord Backward Class status to Kapu community in the state. Speaking at a meeting of the Kapu Association in Rajahmundry, Amabati Rambabu said even after 18 months of the state assembly elections, Chandrababu has not fulfilled his election promise of according BC status to Kapus in the state. Flaying Chandrababu for sanctioning just Rs 50 crore for the development of Kapus in the state, Rambabu said the chief Minister had promised during the elections that his government would sanction Rs 1,000 crore every year for Kapu development. The meeting was arranged in remembrance of late Kapu leader Miryala Venkat Rao.
