Dharna on Dec 7 for special status to AP

Hyderabad, Nov 6: The Special Status Sadhana Samiti today announced that they are going to organise a Mahadharna on December 7 demanding immediate announcement of special status to Andhra Pradesh. Announcing this to media in Kakinada today, the samiti leaders Chalasani Srinivas, Karem Shivaji, CPI leader Ramakrishna demanded that the state government should immediately convene an all-party meeting on the issue. The state was losing a lot due to the undue delay in announcing the special status to AP by the central government, they said.
