Five crushed to death between boulders
Nellore, Oct 30: Five persons died and five others were seriously injured when they came under boulders at Chemudugunta near Venkatachalam in Nellore district today. The victims were travelling in lorry carrying granite boulders at the time of the accident. The lorry was travelling from Mysore to Vijayawada and 11 members were onboard. The accident occurred when the driver applied breaks to avoid hitting an auto coming in the opposite direction. The granite boulders fell on passengers. The victims hail from Chinajagarlamudi or Prakasam district. Condition of two injured persons is stated to be critical.
