SC postpones hearing on Gali Janardhana Reddy's plea

Hyderabad, Oct 26: The Supreme Court of India today postponed by a week the hearing on a petition filed by Gali Janardhana Reddy, who is out on bail in the illegal mining case. Janardhana Reddy had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking its permission to go to his native town Ballary in Karnataka state. After hearing arguments on the petition, the court directed the CBI to file a counter petition. When CBI advocate requested the court to grant one week's time to file the counter petition, the SC postponed the hearing by one week.
