Oxygen cylinder blast guts hospital in Kadapa village

Hyderabad, Oct 10: The government hospital in Obulvaripalle village in Kadapa district was gutted this morning after fire broke out when two oxygen cylinders located in the operation theater of the hospital exploded. Villagers who heard the explosion and saw the fire in the hospital, immediately informed officials at the fire station located in Railway Kodur. Fire tenders rushed to the explosion scene and succeeded in putting out the fire. The District Medical and Health Officer O Venkatasubbaiah inspected the fully gutted hospital and made makeshift medical service facility in front of the hospital.
