40 students injured as school bus overturns
Hyderabad, Oct 3: At least 10 students were seriously injured and 30 others received minor injuries after the school bus in which they were travelling overturned near Katperi Bus Stand under Chotepally mandal of Chittoor district early this morning. The students and the bus belong to a private school in Punganuru town of the district. On coming to see the accident, locals rushed in and immediately shifted the injured students to Punganuru government hospital. Blaming the driver for the accident, the locals said he was driving the bus very fast. The accident happened when the students were being taken from villages around Boyakunda to their school in Punganuru. Doctors said there is no danger to the lives of the students.
