Teachers of Keshava Reddy schools agitate for salaries

Anantapur, Sept 19: In a new development, teachers from the Keshava Reddy schools today staged a sit in in front of their school in Anantapur demanding payment of their salaries. Stating that they were not being paid their salaries for the past four months, they cancelled their classes and staged a sit in before their school in the town. On coming to know of this, parents of the students expressed their worry that their children's education would get effected if teachers go on strike in the middle of the academic year. Parents of the students urged the district education officials to intervene and resolve the issue at the earliest.
