Vijayawada's Padmasree may join Twitter as its CEO
Hyderabad, Sep 04: Vijayawada-born NRI Padmasree Warrior has reportedly received an offer from social media giant Twitter to join as its CEO, according to reports. It may be noted that Padmasree worked as CTO of Cisco Systems. Twitter may take a decision on CEO after its board meeting. Padmasree, daughter of Yellapeddi Subhramanya Gandhi, was born in Vijayawada. She had her schooling in Montessori School and Intermediate from Maris Stella college in the city. She left Vijayawada to pursue B Tech in IIT Delhi and later settled in US. Her father was a noted lawyer in the city. Earlier, she worked as CTO of Motorola. Padmasree was in India in January this year when US President Barak Obama and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the world CEO's conference in Delhi.
