Z plus security for RSS headquarters

Nagpur, Aug 12: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) took over the security of Rashtriya Swayamasevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters Hedgewar Bhavan in Nagpur yesterday. It may be noted that Centre, as per the directives of Union Home Ministry, has decided to provide Z plus security to Hedgewar Bhavan and RSS chief Mohan Bhagawat. About 150 CISF police personnel replaced the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) and local police. The SRPF provided security cover to RSS headquarters for the past 15 years. In 2006, police gunned down three suspected Laskhar-e-Toiba (Let) militants when they tried to enter the building. Since then elaborate security measures were put in place in the locality.
