Pushkar ghat stampede victim dies
Vizianagaram/Hyderabad, July 31: A woman, who was severely injured in the stampede during Rajahmundry Pushkaralu on July 14, died on Friday. Pudi Taramma (65), native of Talteru village, Badangi mandal, Vizianagaram district, along with family members went to Rajahmundry on the first day of the Pushkaralu to take holy dip in River Godavari. A stampede took place when the barricades were opened suddenly and 27 devotees died on the spot. Taramma was one of injured persons. Since then she was under-treatment in Rajahmundry government hospital and died today.
