Rs 92 lakh for Yoga mats

Hyderabad, July 31: A sizable amount has been spent for the mats used during the mega yoga programme organised at Rajpath in New Delhi on June 21. Rs 92 lakh were spent for the purchase of the mats used on the yoga day. Ayush Minister Shripad Yesso Naik informed the same in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha. MN Arch Concept, a private limited company, took the responsibility of organising the yoga day. For this they have imported 37,000 yoga mats from China, at a cost of Rs 92.5 lakh including tax. Meanwhile, the Central government announced recently that Rs 32 crore was spent for organising the international yoga day.
