AP Cabinet approves Seed Capital Area Master Plan

Rajahmundry, July 22: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet today approved the Seed Capital Area Master Plan submitted by the Singapore government. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu presided over the meeting held at R&B Guest House here today. The Cabinet paid homage to those killed in stampede in the city. The meeting discussed about organisation of Godavari Pushkaralu, land allocations to housing and other projects and fake pattadar passbook scandal in Anantapur district. The Cabinet decided to organise 'Pushkara Jyothi' (Deepa Aradhana) in all the houses in the State on the concluding day of Godavari Pushkarlau and to felicitate employees who were deputed for Pushkaram duties on July 26. A decision was taken to allocate 2,000 acres land to DRDO in Kurnool district and 300 acres to an IT firm in Visakhapatnam. Barring Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy all others participated in the meet. KE recently underwent knee surgery.
