Chandrababu should resign: Chiranjeevi

Hyderabad, July 14: Cine actor and senior Congress leader Chiranjeevi expressed deep shock over the death of 27 devotees in stampede in Rajahmundry and termed it is the failure of the AP government. He alleged that the government failed to expect the devotees rush. Chiranjeevi said that Chandrababu boasted about the preparations for the festivities before media but utterly failed to provide necessary arrangements to the devotees. He demanded the government to provide an ex-gratia of Rs 25-lakh to the kin of deceased in the incident. He flayed the CM for appointing politically inexperienced persons as advisers. APCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy demanded the CM to either resign or tender an apology to the people.
