Kovvur (West Godavari): Thousands of devotees were stranded due to 25 km traffic jam on Deverapalli-Kovvur road in West Godavari district. Kovvur and Rajahmundry received huge influx of devotees on the first day of Godavari Pushkaralu. The police are finding it difficult to control thousands of vehicles plying between Rajahmundry and Kovvur. Lakhs of people from all corners of the state and neighbouring states are visiting Kovvur to take part in pushkarams. Meanwhile MP Gokarajau Ganga Raju and Rammohan Naidu participated in pushkaralu at Narasapuram in the district.
