Tirumala temple replica in Rajahmundry
Rajahmundry, July 13: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has set up a replica of Tirumala temple of Lord Venkateswara at Municipal Stadium in Rajahmundry on the occasion of Godavari Pushkaralu. TTD priests today installed the idols of the lord and his divine consorts in the replica temple. TTD priests will perform ‘Nitya Harathi’ to River Godavari during the Pushkarams. The priests performed Abhishekam to the lord with Godavari river water. The replica temple will be thrown open to devotees from today. TTD EO Sambasiva Rao, MP Maganti Muralimohan, MLA Gorantla Butchiah Chowdary and others were present. The replica temple was decorated with flowers.
