Seven killed as lorry overturns in Guntur

Guntur, July 11: Seven persons died when the lorry in which they were travelling overturned at Kondrumutla of Evuru mandal in Guntur district today. While five persons sitting in the cabinet died on the spot, two others died while undergoing treatment at a hospital. The lorry was transporting fertilizers from Evuru to Karempudi. The deceased were identified as residents of Vadamapalli village of Dornala mandal in Prakasam district. The accident occurred as the driver lost control over the vehicle while trying to avoid hitting a two-wheeler.
