Ruckus at Kadapa ZP meeting
Kadapa, July 4: Utter chaos prevailed at the Zilla Parishad general body meeting held here today. Trouble started when YSRCP MLAs reportedly made some comments on District Collector GV Ramana. The YSRCP MLAs alleged that officials were not giving due importance to them and violating protocol. They stalled the proceedings and raised slogans. TDP activists flayed YSRCP for defaming officials. Mild tension prevailed when Mydukur MLA Raghurami Reddy and a TDP ZPTC member entered into heated argument. TDP MLC Satish Reddy interfered and pacified the members. Meanwhile, officials wore black badges to protest against the alleged rude behaviour of YSRCP members and staged a walk-out.
