YSRCP objects to TDP leaders' remarks

Hyderabad, May 24, 2015: Taking strong objection to the statements of TDP leaders and ministers at the Mini Mahanadu programme, YSR Congress has said Chief Minister had sown the seeds in the minds of administration to show partiality towards the party cadre which has now taken demonic proportions. “The provocative  statements of Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishna Murthy and Minister Atcham Naidu pointing towards elimination of political adversaries is against the spirit of parliamentary democracy and unconstitutional. The seeds for such talk were sown by the Chief Minister himself at the District Collectors Conference where he has openly stated that TDP cadre should be allowed to take part in the governing process,” Party MLA Alla Rama Krishna Reddy told media here on Sunday. “The two leaders, instead of confining the Mahanadu meeting to its Party affairs have given statements that the cadre should take the help of police to settle political scores and have spoken more on YSR Congress than on their own Party. They have spoken on suppression of YSRCP with the use of force and district administration which is against the democratic spirit and the Minister has gone one length ahead and asked the cadre to prepare a list of officers who are favourable to the Party and it will be sent to the Chief Minister for approval which is a shameful act and demeaning the officials,” he said. The Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues have dropped enough hints that they would serve only those who voted for TDP which is against the spirit of parliamentary democracy. YSR after winning elections looked beyond party affiliations in extending welfare schemes which the TDP government should emulate. Chandarababu Naidu is resorting to such tactics only to cover up his failures, he said.
