Ponnala Prabhakar Accuses BJP of Misusing ED, CBI Against Critics

Minister Ponnala Prabhakar has accused the BJP of orchestrating raids by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) against those who oppose them. Speaking to the media on Friday, he claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had disrespected the establishment of Telangana state and criticized the Central government for not fulfilling the promises made in the reorganization act. He questioned the status of Modi's promise of creating two crore jobs each year, and accused the BJP of engaging in emotionally charged politics. Prabhakar also alleged that Modi and Amit Shah have sold off the country’s prestigious institutions.

He blamed the Central government's recent agricultural laws for the increasing suicides among farmers. Ponnala urged voters to teach the BJP a lesson in the upcoming elections, stating that the party has no moral right to seek votes in Telangana after failing to contribute to the state’s development. He accused the BJP government of injustices against the textile industry and said that the BJP and BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) are attempting to undermine the Congress party, which he claims will fulfill all its promises.
