Hyderabad Tightens Security for PM Modi's Visit and Road Show

The excitement of the Lok Sabha elections is palpable in Telangana, with the BJP and Congress being the primary competitors. Aiming to secure as many seats as possible, the BJP high command is pushing forward with vigor. Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have already visited the state, and today, Modi is set to arrive in Hyderabad for a two-day visit. He will conduct a road show in the Malkajgiri constituency, covering approximately 5 kilometers. Tomorrow, he will participate in a public meeting in Nagar Kurnool.

Prime Minister Modi's Schedule: Modi will arrive at the Begumpet Airport from Delhi on a special plane at 4:55 PM. From 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM, he will conduct a road show in Malkajgiri, followed by his arrival at the Raj Bhavan at 6:40 PM, where he will stay overnight. Tomorrow morning at 11:00 AM, he will depart from Begumpet Airport to Nagar Kurnool by helicopter. He is scheduled to attend a public meeting there from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM. At 1:00 PM, he will fly to Gulbarga and then return to Delhi.

In light of Modi's visit to Hyderabad, the police have imposed strict restrictions. Remote-controlled drones, micro-light aircraft, and paragliders are not allowed to fly within the 5-kilometer radius of Modi's road show. Violators of these rules will face actions under IPC sections 188, 121, 121A, 287, 336, 337, 338, as warned by Rachakonda Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi. Traffic restrictions have been put in place in the area during the road show, with diversions on several roads.
