CM Revanth Reddy to Inaugurate Indiramma Housing Scheme Today in Bhadrachalam

As part of one of the six guarantees promised during the elections, the Congress government in Telangana is set to inaugurate the Indiramma Housing Scheme today (Monday) in Bhadrachalam. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is scheduled to launch this scheme. The government has released the schedule for the event. 

CM Revanth Reddy will depart from Yadagirigutta by helicopter at 11 AM and arrive at Sarapaka in the Burgampadu Mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district by 12 PM. From there, he will directly proceed to the Sita Ramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadrachalam by road. After visiting the temple, the scheme will be inaugurated at the local agricultural market at 1 PM. Approximately 5,000 women are expected to attend this event. Later, CM Revanth Reddy and ministers will conduct reviews on various issues with senior officials of the Water Resources and Endowments departments in Bhadrachalam. 

Following this, CM Revanth Reddy will participate in a public meeting organized by the Congress party in Manuguru at 4 PM. After the meeting concludes, he will depart by helicopter to Begumpet Airport at 6:10 PM. The Chief Minister's office has disclosed the details of this schedule.


The Congress party announced the Indiramma Housing Scheme to fulfill the dream of owning a house for the poor. The government will provide financial assistance of Rs. 5 lakhs to those who wish to build a house on their own land. For those without land, the government will provide both a house site and Rs. 5 lakhs. 

The government has already clarified that it will identify all eligible homeless poor in the state in phases and apply this scheme to them. This scheme is also among the six guarantees promised by the Congress party during the elections. Authorities will identify eligible applicants in governance and provide them with this financial assistance.
