Vishnuvardhan Reddy Seeks BJP Nomination for Hindupur Lok Sabha Seat

Vishnuvardhan Reddy, the BJP state vice president, expressed his desire to contest from the Hindupur Lok Sabha constituency, stating he would compete if instructed by the party's high command. He mentioned his journey from being an ordinary worker to dedicating 30 years to the party, asserting that everyone has the right to request a ticket. He emphasized that being a local, he believes if given the MP ticket for Hindupur, he would stand for election. Reddy shared his intention with both state and central leadership, indicating that the final decision rests with the high command.

When asked if he would contest independently from Hindupur if alliances fail to materialize, Reddy replied that he would follow the party's decision. Despite efforts from TDP and Janasena to form alliances with BJP, clarity has yet to emerge from the party. Consequently, TDP and Janasena have released their initial lists without an alliance with BJP.
