No More 'TS' for Telangana Vehicle Registrations... It's 'TG' Now

Since the formation of the Telangana state, vehicle registrations have been marked with the letters 'TS' (Telangana State) preceding the number. These letters are set to be replaced with 'TG'. This decision was made in a cabinet meeting chaired by CM Revanth Reddy today.

Moreover, the cabinet meeting served as a platform for several key decisions. It was decided to conduct a caste census in the state. 'Jaya Jayahe Telangana' was declared as the state's official anthem. Changes to the Telangana Mother statue were also approved, along with modifications to the state emblem to better reflect the spirit and essence of Telangana.

Following an in-depth discussion on six guarantees, decisions were made to implement two of them: providing free electricity up to 200 units and a gas cylinder for Rs. 500.
