V. Hanumantha Rao Criticizes CM Jagan for Neglecting Sister Sharmila

Senior Telangana Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao made severe remarks against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, criticizing him for his alleged lack of affection towards his own sisters and calling his statements on women's empowerment ironic.

Rao highlighted the efforts of Y.S. Sharmila, Jagan's sister, during the time Jagan was imprisoned, stating she worked hard for him and the YSRCP. He condemned Jagan for reportedly harboring grudges against Sharmila and accused him of ignoring the disrespect shown towards her within their own party ranks.

Rao also expressed dismay over false allegations circulating on social media, claiming Sharmila is not the daughter of Rajasekhara Reddy, to which Jagan has not responded. He questioned if Jagan would stoop so low for political gains and criticized him for lacking respect towards Sharmila and another sister, Suneetha. Rao urged to abandon bad traditions and warned that overconfidence in power could lead to a public backlash.
