Former Deputy CM Tatikonda Rajaiah Resigns from BRS Party

In a significant setback to the BRS party, which was already reeling from the defeat in the legislative elections, Tatikonda Rajaiah, the first Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana and former MLA, has tendered his resignation. There are reports suggesting his imminent joining of the Congress party.

During the last elections, KCR denied Rajaiah the ticket for Station Ghanpur, opting instead to give it to Kadiyam Srihari. This decision had reportedly left Rajaiah deeply discontented. After thorough discussions with his followers, Rajaiah concluded that parting ways with the party was the best course of action. He has already held talks with Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, and there is a possibility of him joining the Congress in the presence of CM Revanth Reddy.
