Kodikatti Srinu's mother and brother visit Raj Bhavan, submit petition to Governor

The family of Janupalli Srinu, the accused in the Kodikatti case who has been in jail for the past five years, is fighting for his release. Today, Kodikatti Srinu's mother and brother visited Raj Bhavan in Vijayawada. They submitted a petition to Governor Abdul Nazir, seeking justice in the Kodikatti case.

Later, speaking to the media, they revealed that they requested the Governor to ensure Chief Minister Jagan appears in court to testify in this case. They expressed hope that Srinu would be released if the Chief Minister testifies.

Dalit organizations and other public associations have shown support for Kodikatti Srinu's family. Among those who met the Governor were members of the Samatha Sainik Dal and leaders from various parties.

They explained to the Governor that Srinu is languishing in jail due to the delay caused by Jagan in testifying in the Kodikatti case. They also brought to the Governor's attention various incidents of atrocities and injustices against Dalits in Andhra Pradesh.

"This type of case has never been seen in the history of the country," said Varla Ramaiah

Varla Ramaiah, a senior TDP leader, was also among those who visited Raj Bhavan regarding the Kodikatti case issue. Speaking to the media, he stated that such a case has never been seen in the history of the country and accused Jagan of deliberately implicating Srinu in this case.
