'Kantara': Kannada star and director Rishab Shetty says there is scope for sequel

Hyderabad: 'Kantara' starring Kannada star Rishab Shetty released worldwide on September 30. It was appreciated by the audience as well as critics. With hit talk, the film is raking in the moolah at the box office. Rishabh Shetty himself directed the film.

'Kantara' is an action thriller that has many twists. The climax of the movie will also give impetus to the sequel. Rishabh gave an interview to the media on the occasion of the release of the Hindi version of the film.

As part of that, he responded to the sequel. "Currently my focus is on 'Kantara'. I can't speak on the sequel. We will think about it later. However, the movie has many sub-plots. So, there are many choices for the sequel," said Rishabh Shetty.

Rishabh also spoke about the sequel of 'Bell Bottom'. He said he is eagerly waiting for the movie. He revealed that if compared to the first part, the sequel will be more interesting. Meanwhile, praises are pouring in for 'Kantara'.

Dhanush, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, and others showered their praises on the movie. 'Kantara' created history by getting a 9.6 rating on IMDb. 'KGF-2' has surpassed the 'RRR' (RRR) ratings. On IMDb, 'KGF-2' secured an 8.4 rating while 'RRR' was 8. It is remarkable that 'Kantara' has surpassed the ratings of these two films.
