Chandrababu instigating govt employees, alleges Botsa

Tadepalli, September 6: Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana alleged that the TDP chief and Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu is instigating employees to protest against the YSRCP government.

“For the last 60 years, we have been following the tradition of felicitating best teachers every year,” he said and flayed Chandrababu for unable to digest Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy honouring 176 teachers with the ‘Best Teacher Awards ‘recognising their services.

Botsa condemned the stand taken by Naidu towards Teachers’ Day. “Owners of a few Telugu media organisations are gurus to the TDP supremo,” he mocked and made it clear that they are only rationalising government schools but not closure as alleged by Opposition.

Keeping future of employees in mind, the minister stated that his government is doing exercise on Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and Guaranteed Pension Scheme (GPS) in place of existing Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS).

Further, Botsa said that the state government is setting up two junior colleges for every mandal and one is exclusively for girl students. “Why Chandrababu did not bring reforms in education sector when he was CM,” he asked.
