One ticket free on purchase of three, offer from Liger producers

Hyderabad, August 29: Liger written and helmed by Puri Jagannadh bombed at the box office because of disaster talk. On fourth day after movie release, producers announced one ticket free on purchase of three in a theatre that shows cinemagoers are not interested in watching Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer flick.

Fans trolled Vijay and Jagannadh on social media after film received negative word of mouth from the first day of its release. Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali and Makrand Deshpande played supporting roles in sports drama film.

It is a common trend in Tollywood to hold a success meet and announce film as a super hit. But no producer or actor had responded on Liger. According to reports, the film’s main cast and producers came to a conclusion that it miserably failed to impress audience. According to reports, Liger jointly bankrolled by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur and Karan Johar had collected only Rs 43 crore in three days.
