Cong MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy confirms meeting Amit Shah

Hyderabad, July 22: In a freewheeling chat with media, Telangana Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy on Friday confirmed meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi two days ago. But he did not agree to the question that Amit Shah invited him to join the BJP.

The MLA reiterated that he is standing on his statement of joining a political party which can defeat Chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and TRS candidates in next Assembly elections. “After joining the party, I will work with a single agenda of defeating the TRS,” he said.

Rajgopal Reddy alleged that the TRS government is obstructing allocation of funds to Munugode Assembly constituency represented by him. To a question, the MLA mentioned that he will take a right decision on changing the party at an appropriate time.

Rajgopal has arranged a meeting with his followers and Congress activists at Chandur in Munugode to announce his decision to switch loyalty from the Congress and BJP. But the MLA mentioned that meeting was arranged to discuss issues faced in constituency.
