Ahmedabad, Kerala on Time magazine's world's greatest places-2022 list

New Delhi: Two regions of India have received a rare honour. The city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat and the state of Kerala have got a place in the list of the world's greatest places-2022 released by Time magazine. These two regions of India have been ranked among the top 50 tourist destinations.

“The challenges faced in 2022 have helped to realise the value of human relations through travel. Many people around the world have taken the Corona vaccine. Currently, travel by road and air has picked up. The hospitality industry has taken off again. It is ready to invite pilgrims,” said Time magazine.

Ahmedabad, India's first UNESCO-recognised heritage city has a lot to offer. "There are new discoveries, along with ancient sites, to make it a traditional tourist destination. They range from the 36-acre Gandhi ashram near the Sabarmati river to the world's longest dance festival, the Navratri Festival. Ahmedabad means a Science City.

On the other hand.. Time has described Kerala as a beautiful state in the southeast coastal region of India. It is said to have beautiful beaches, temples and regions and has become a country inhabited by Gods. It is said that Kerala has taken the tourism sector further in India this year.
To prepare this year's list of the world's greatest places, Time magazine said it received nominations of places from its international network of correspondents and contributors, focusing on those who share their experiences.

World's greatest places include Ras Al Khaimah in UAE, Park City in Utah, Seoul, Great Barrier Reef in Australia, The Arctic, Valencia in Spain, Trans Bhutan Trail in Bhutan, International Space Station, Bogota, Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia, Istanbul, Kigali and Rwanda.
