Y.S. Jagan elected unanimously as permanent YSRCP president in plenary

Guntur, July 9: On the second day of plenary at Mangalagiri, YSRCP general secretary V. Vijayasai Reddy on Saturday urged the party cadre to give their approval for making amendment to the YSRCP constitution for declaring Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as permanent president. He mentioned that 22 sets of nominations were received in support of Jagan Reddy’s candidature on July 8, 2022. The resolution was ratified unanimously today with the approval of party leaders and workers, he stated.
 
Addressing the closing ceremony of plenary, Jagan thanked the YSRCP cadre for electing him as permanent president. “I salute party leaders and workers, and followers for showing the same affection towards me for the last 13 years,” he said and added that the YSRCP’s journey began with one MLA and now number swell to 151. “My only goal is to do justice for the poor and weaker sections of the society,” he stated.
