Auto mishap in Sathya Sai district: CM Jagan announces Rs 10 lakh ex gratia to kin of deceased

Amaravathi, June 30: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed deep shock over the auto accident in Sri Sathya Sai district on Thursday morning. He enquired the CMO about the details and announced ex gratia to the family members of the deceased.
 
An auto caught fire after coming into contact with a high tension wire near Chillakondaiahpalle village of Tadimarri mandal. Five women labourers were burnt alive in the mishap. There were 12 passengers in the auto when the accident took place. The deceased were identified as Kanthamma, Ramulamma, Rathamma, and Lakshi Devi of Guddampalle and Kumari of Peddakotla. Two persons received severe burn injuries and undergoing treatment in a government hospital.
 
The CM directed the officials to provide ex gratia of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of the deceased. He also directed to provide better treatment to the injured.
