Hyd: KTR opens Kaithalapur flyover, slams union minister for trying to stall IDPL road

Hyderabad, June 21: Minister for IT and Industries K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) on Tuesday inaugurated Kaithalapur flyover here near the Borabanda MMTS station. The road over bridge (ROB) was constructed at a cost of Rs 86 crore under the phase-1 of the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP).

Addressing a public meeting, KTR said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao gave permission for laying a road through the Indian Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited (IDPL) for the benefit of the people living in the surrounding areas. He criticised a union minister for ordering police to register cases against engineers and workers, who are involved in road construction works.

KTR demanded that the union minister should register a case against him instead of employees and workers, who are working for salaries and wages. He also assured of sanctioning monthly pensions to beneficiaries who have completed 50 years of age. Minister Malla Reddy, MLAs and TRS leaders were present.
